Unbelievably Fabulous Dentist!!

Dr Rendon & Benjamin are somewhat unusual in their field. Like something out of an old movie, they care for their patients like they used to do before modern insurance drove the "patient first" mentality well down the line of priorities of most health professionals these days. I was not a current patient & found them on the web through a standard search engine, noting other reviews that they have received. I assumed I had a popcorn kernel in my tooth/gum that needed removing and was causing swelling and pain. Calling Benjamin at the office I was informed that the Dr was actually out of the office that day but was coming in for a short period to deliver something for another patient.If I could be there at the same time it would be a relatively simple procedure and they would do it at a price I was surprised at as it was most fair considering I do not have insurance. In other words they don't ream you as other places do. Once there they were absolutely lovely. Not only do I not have insurance I also have the fear a lot of people have of the dentist. Dr Rendon was going to Disneyland with her family who were waiting for my quick popcorn removal so they could be on their way. Well, as things go, the popcorn was not found and yet Dr Rendon stayed and continued working on an abscess that had formed, working her way through the upper teeth to find what was causing it. She was going to stay & have x-rays done to see what was happening and continue-( as you see this 'simple' procedure was a lot more complicated) She never once seemed like I was being a burden on her day off for her and her family &, it was I who insisted I would come back if the issue continued to be a problem so that she could get out of there. She was gentle,caring and accurate.I cannot believe she did that for someone who was not even a current patient. I was charged the original amount they told me even though she did so much more.In all the countries and places I have lived I have never come across a dentist like this. Make her your family dentist and you will never want another! Thank you Dr Rendon and Benjamin!

 

Found a Great Dental Office and Dentist

Asked my friends and colleagues if they could suggest a good dentist nearby. One of my best friends suggested Aliso Village as both dentist were said to be great. After my first visit, I can tell you that I was very pleased with the warm and friendly service I received, not only from the dentist Dr. Rendon, but also the front office staff. And I felt the cost was well within the range of what I paid elsewhere, but with a lot more attention to me in the exam and cleaning. Can't remember the last time a dentist completed the entire exam AND the full cleaning!

The dentist was extremely thorough and asked me plenty of medical history questions and gave me a very comprehensive exam, with x-rays and boy was she ever thorough with my cleaning - not just a regular ceaning, but a cleaning that scraped away lots of stuff I never new I had, and identified several cracks and a loose filling - no wonder I was having some pain when I was eating ice cream.
